A Better You Challenge

What if perfection was not the goal?
What if instead you just worked on getting a little better everyday?
The Better Your Challenge is designed to help you become a better version of you by simply taking a few small steps each day.
It is a marathon, not a sprint!
And guess what?? You can do it!!
Here's the plan.
Each day you'll eat whole foods that you actually like. We'll provide a meal plan with recipes and a grocery list to make this as easy as possible.
You'll also spend some time each day being active. This can be a HIIT workout like CrossFit or a simple 20 minute work. Wherever you are fitness-wise we'll start there and just get a little better each day. We'll provide lots of workout/activity ideas to help you make small improvements.
You know what is good for you? Water! And it is practically free!! Each day you'll drink two quarts of water to help you stay hydrated and keep your body clean and in good working order! :-)
The best version of you needs good rest! So we'll shoot for 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.
Lastly, you will be encouraged to improve your emotional/spiritual health. This can look different for everyone. For some you need to just take some time each day to focus on peace and rest through deep breathing or time with God. Others will need to offer forgiveness to either someone else or even to themself. Carrying around grudges and unforgiveness generally only weighs you down. If you need ideas here we are here to help you think through how to improve in this area.
What does the best version of you look like? Only God truly knows! Instead of focusing on the best version of you, you'll just get better compared to your past self. No comparing yourself to everyone else's photoshopped Instagram posts!!
When you focus on consistently taking small steps you'll be amazed as how far you come in even 30 short days!

Daily Habits
- Eat whole foods
- Eat lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds
- Do not eat any processed foods.
- Do not eat after 7PM
- Get 8 Hours of Sleep
- 20 to 30 Minutes of Physical Activity
- Drink two quarts of water daily
